LiiTO is born from my needs to store memories and pictures out of digital devices and non-physical solutions. There was a specific event, some years ago, that made me think about how we use to percieve our memories.

My smartphone disappeared….Doesn’t matter if it was stolen or I lost it, with my smarthphone 3 years of pictures goes away.

After this I started to use cloud system in order to protect data and avoid any further situation like the one described above. Months later, thanks to Marinella Levi and piulab team, I got the opportunity to experience a new way to make pictures real and physical through a 3D printer.

After so much time spent understanding the principles of litophane and finding the right printing parameters, shapes and way to interact with them I can finally show you LiiTO, tha way to give thickness to your memories.
